2023 Subaru Legacy Base Trim

Every Legacy model has a sleek exterior style and six color options. There are subtle differences as you move up the trim levels. For example, the Legacy Base has 17-inch black machine-faced aluminum alloy wheels wrapped in all-season tires. Standard LED steering responsive headlights adjust their direction to help you see better at night while cornering. You also get black folding side mirrors and a single exhaust outlet.

Under the hood, the Legacy Base has the legendary Subaru Boxer engine. It’s a horizontally opposed 2.5-liter aluminum alloy four-cylinder engine with dual overhead cams. There are also 16 valves with a dual active valve control system. Subaru paired this engine with its Lineartronic continuously variable transmission (CVT). As a result, this powertrain produces 182 horsepower and 176 lb-ft of torque. The Legacy Base has an efficiency rating of up to 35 mpg from the EPA.

Every Legacy model has Subaru’s Symmetrical AWD system. To add control through uniform stability, the system sends power to all four wheels at the same time. And on wet and slippery roads, the power flows to the wheel or wheels with the most grip to optimize traction.

Inside you have seating for five people and premium cloth upholstery. Mounted on your three-spoke steering wheel are your audio and Bluetooth. It also has Subaru Eyesight driver-assist controls and paddle shifters for a more spirited driving experience.

Your infotainment runs through a 7-inch touch screen powered by Subaru’s STARLINK technology. A USB-A input port illuminates for easy plug-in. 2023 Subaru Legacy Premium Trim

Moving to the Premium trim, you get all the Base model’s features plus a few notable upgrades. Outside, you can add fog lights, a keyless entry with a push-button start, and a power-operated moonroof. In addition, your side mirrors match your exterior paint and have turn signal indicators and heat.

You replace the manual front seats in the cabin with 10-way power-operated and heated front seats. Premium cloth upholstery is standard, but a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob add sophistication and comfort.

Your infotainment upgrades include an 11.6-inch touch screen, a six-speaker audio system, and a front USB-C port and rear USB-A and USB-C ports. Legacy Premium models also come standard with 4G-LTE Wi-Fi hotspot capability. In addition, you have the option for built-in navigation and a wireless charging pad.

2023 Subaru Legacy Limited Trim

Building off the features above, the Limited models roll on 18-inch gray machine-finished aluminum alloy wheels with all-season tires. LED fog lights and keyless entry with push-button start come standard.

Slipping inside the Limited trim, you upgrade to 12-way power-adjustable front seats. Both front and rear outboard seats heat for comfort, and you can add a heated steering wheel. You also get leather-trimmed seats standard with the leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. Another interior enhancement includes a premium audio system from Harman Kardon. It comes with 12 speakers and a 576-watt GreenEdge amplifier.

2023 Subaru Legacy Sport Trim

In addition to the features above, you get sport-inspired styling and equipment with the Legacy Sport trim. The Legacy Sport has trim-exclusive 18-inch gray aluminum alloy wheels. It also has Magnetite Gray Metallic-finish side mirrors with integrated turn signal indicators and a trunk-lid spoiler. Dual chrome exhaust outlets and a power tilt/slide moonroof come standard.

Sport cloth seats with red accent stitching provide a signature style inside. The leather-wrapped heated steering wheel and the 11.6-inch touch screen with built-in navigation come standard.

The most significant upgrade on the Sport trim is under the hood. Subaru uses a 2.4-liter turbocharged Boxer engine with an intercooler, dual overhead cams, and 16 valves with a dual active valve control system. This engine links with the Lineartronic CVT and has an impressive 260 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque.

2023 Subaru Legacy Touring XT Trim

Subaru’s top-of-the-line Legacy trim offers premium features and equipment to please the most discriminating tastes. Trim-specific 18-inch alloy wheels and Satin chrome finish power-folding side mirrors elevate the exterior. Of course, you get the same 2.4-liter turbo engine and Symmetrical AWD.
