Whether you’re here for a short time or a long time, we have a feeling you’ll want to visit these spots again and again.

Esperanza’s Restaurant and Bakery

First on the list is Esperanza’s Restaurant and Bakery. Esperanza’s is one of the best places to get an authentic taco in town, and what’s better is it’s open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. True enthusiasts can even order catering through this yummy local spot. Affordability and authenticity are the two priorities at Esperanza’s, and it accomplishes both with flair and flavor.

There are two locations you can visit to enjoy this excellent cuisine: one on North Main Street in Fort Worth and the other on Park Place Avenue in Fort Worth. The Main Street location is open 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Sunday. The Park Place Avenue location is open 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Panther City Barbeque

Another great Fort Worth taco spot is Panther City Barbeque. This spot gets its name from Fort Worth’s own nickname: Panther City. This food truck has lots of great menu offerings, including savory brisket tacos that will leave your mouth watering. Pork belly burnt ends, made popular by the food truck that filled the same location before Panther City, are an exquisite menu option, too. The truck even hosts BBQU, where class attendees can learn the ends and outs of excellent barbeque, from learning to choose the wood and the meat to operating the smoker.

The spot is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Maestro Tacos

Taco lovers will love the juicy and authentic flavors at Maestro Tacos. The restaurant’s tacos are made with locally sourced ingredients for special, local flavor. Maestro Tacos prepares its offerings, from its salsa to its tortillas, fresh daily for the freshest tasting menu items. The restaurant’s owner, Miguel, learned his craft during his 16 years working as a butcher in Monterrey. His menu is crafted from family recipes that remind him of home and remind us why we trust Maestro Tacos to deliver one of the best meals in Fort Worth.

Maestro Tacos is open weekends. Its hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Revolver Taco Lounge

Although Revolver Taco Lounge’s locations are a little outside Fort Worth in Dallas, it’s still worth the trip. Revolver Taco Lounge has three locations: two in Deep Ellum and one in Dallas’s AT&T Discovery District. The lounge’s menu is full of incredible favorites. It’s impossible to go wrong with a visit to Revolver.

Taco lovers can visit the Main Street location in Dallas 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.

Rodeo Tacos

Rodeo Tacos has a special place in the hearts of Fort Worth residents. This spot serves authentic Mexican cuisine, like tacos, enchiladas, burritos, and fajitas. You can find this hidden gem in the Stockyards. You can order carry out or dine in.

The taco shop’s carryout hours are 5 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 5 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. Business hours are 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. It’s a great choice for night owls to find late-night cuisine that hits all the right spots.

Mariachi’s Dine-In

Another local favorite, Mariachi’s Dine-In has excellent menu options for anyone with a love for Mexican cuisine. The restaurant offers dine-in, takeout, and delivery to its customers. Mariachi’s specializes in both street food and vegan cuisine, making it an excellent choice for those wanting more vegan-friendly menu options. Mariachi’s owner, Ashley Miller, has a knack for making vegan tacos that are as delicious as her traditional menu items.

Mariachi’s original location was near the Riverside District in Fort Worth, but in May 2021, the restaurant transitioned to a location with a larger dining area to serve its plethora of happy customers. You can now visit the mouthwatering joint on Locke Avenue in Fort Worth. Its hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

La Pasadita

Last on the list, but not last in our hearts, is La Pasadita. Known for its tacos and tortas, there are so many great menu options at La Pasadita. You can visit one of the restaurant’s two locations: its spot on Las Vegas Trail in Fort Worth or its nearby location in North Richland Hills. The Fort Worth spot is open 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. You can even order online for pickup to take your meal with you anywhere you want to go.

These are just some of the great spots located in the Fort Worth area, but we’re sure there are plenty more.
